Today, we participated in another session of the Three-Universities (NYCU × OSU × TMU) Videoconference, hosted this time by National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU). This session was particularly special, as it marked the 30th edition of the joint-universities videoconference – a milestone that reflects the institutions’ enduring commitment to collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strengthening academic partnerships.
During the conference, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Hong, a second-year Ph.D. student from the Institute of Public Health at NYCU, presented her ongoing research titled “Healthcare Utilization among Women Immigrants in Taiwan: A Population-Based Study.” Her study seeks to identify key determinants influencing healthcare accessibility among immigrant women in Taiwan and to provide insights that can inform equitable and responsive health policies.
