• College of Public Health - Global Health Micro Program

    Introduction

In today’s world, global health has become increasingly specialized with a wide range of specialties, thus making knowledge integration across disciplines and targeted professional training a key essential. Now, global health now transcends beyond disease prevention and control to include fields such as management science, public administration, law and policy, economics, culture, and even diplomacy. In order to solve these interdisciplinary and professional challenges, it is important to strengthen global health education, improve strategic planning skills, and also support the development of effective and equitable health systems that seek to improve human health and well-being.

In order to bridge the knowledge gap and solve these challenges, the Global Health and Health Security Program has designed a Global Health Micro Program. This micro program is designed to help students develop their skills in global health promotion and health policy and planning, and also to enhance students’ international perspectives on global health and their understanding of global health trends.
