We are pleased to welcome Professor Masamine Jimba, Emeritus Professor from the University of Tokyo, for a special lecture on “Implementation Research in Global Health” during the seminar class on September 14, 2026.

During the lecture, Professor Jimba introduced students to key concepts and approaches in implementation research, highlighting the importance of translating evidence into effective interventions and ensuring that health programmes can achieve meaningful impact in real-world settings.
Drawing from his extensive experience, Professor Jimba also shared insights from his research and intervention work in Ghana and Nepal. His experiences provided students with valuable perspectives on the practical challenges and opportunities involved in implementing global health interventions across different contexts.

We sincerely thank Professor Jimba for sharing his expertise, experiences, and valuable lessons with our students, and for contributing to our continued learning in global health research and practice.
