We were honored to welcome our Master’s Program student, Shandi, who works with Medicins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders), as a guest speaker in Professor Mattia’s Global Health Organizations and Initiatives course.
Shandi delivered an insightful and engaging lecture titled “Humanitarian Actions and Health Security: How MSF Responds to Crises.” Her presentation providedvan in-depth exploration of the work MSF does in Taiwan and around the world, their framework, and also guiding principles. Her lecture gave our students a practical insight to how global health organizations work, beyond what they were taught in class. It was truly a pleasure to have her share her knowledge and experience with us.
