We were delighted to participate in the Three-Universities Joint Seminar which includes National Taiwan University (NTU)’s Global Health Program, Taipei Medical University (TMU)’s PhD and Master Program in Global Health and Health Security, and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU)’s International Health Program. The seminar, hosted by National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University this time, took place at Medical Building II, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Yang Ming Campus.
During the seminar, students came together to have meaningful discussions on important global health topics ranging from occupational health, communicable and noncommunicable diseases, health financing, health policy and advocacy to mental health. After deliberate discussions among students on these topics, each group gave an insightful presentation on their findings. Beyond the discussions and presentations, students interacted meaningfully, caught up with their old friends, and made new connections.
